I was asked to design a concept for Manchester Airport’s More Than An Airport Campaign.
The aim of the campaign was to showcase the fantastic work done by Manchester Airport supporting the community & businesses in the North. The artwork was to be executed across multiple digital channels and large print formats in and around the airport, terminals and surrounding areas.
I created a flexible design utilising the Airport’s secondary, more vibrant, colour palette. We included several elements that would flow through each design and highlight the different types of support the airport offers.
The main design element was to include a banner of colour and text that weaves in and out of each photo to represent how the airport is embedded within the community.
The final executions are warm, friendly, eye catching and successfully relay the campaign message. Our designs can now be seen in several areas of the airport including the sky-link, station foyer and will soon be gracing the walls of the new Terminal 2.
